TESTIMONIAL
“One of the most talented wireless engineers I have ever worked with. The program covered 5 million square feet and thousands of APs supporting mission critical applications along with VoIP, video and biomedical equipment. Quickly understands new technologies and creatively works through engineering challenges to optimize wireless network performance. Also has a wealth of knowledge about emerging wireless technologies and advances and can engineer solutions that satisfy technical and business requirements. The engineer worked well with our wireless team and the business customers we served, speaking with technical acumen to our team but also able to help the staff understand the technology in terms of how it could bring them value.” – Chad Neal, Director of Technology, at The Ohio State University Medical Center

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Completed the installation of the US healthcare systems largest sq.’ active RFID implementation over Wi-Fi at that time. Tracking 800-4500 tagged medical devices covering over 3.3Msq’ by a cisco medical grade wireless network. Set up automated work flow based on zones/actions/notifications and rules built into the active RTLS model. Wrote project guidelines and managed several large RTLS roll-out projects within the 5 main hospitals at OSUMC (Ohio State University Medical Center) These projects ranged from temperature monitoring of medical grant samples, staff safest in the psychiatric hospital, to replace ZigBee based RTLS equipment for perioperative services in 4 of the hospitals while at OSUMC. This work saved OSUMC over $365K the 1st year after go-live from equipment loss prevention, time saved, and rentals found or not needed.
